Safeguarding at alignAfrica

At alignAfrica, safeguarding is a shared responsibility and an essential part of responsible development and humanitarian work.

We are committed to protecting the safety, dignity, rights, privacy, and wellbeing of everyone connected to our work, particularly children, young people, women, persons with disabilities, and adults at risk.

We work to prevent and respond to sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, child abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying, neglect, abuse of power, and other forms of harm.

Our safeguarding approach is guided by recognized good practice, including the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS 2024) and relevant PSEA/SEAH principles.
